Wheels off the Wall

From a brick on the wall,
into a wheel off the wall.

Where education is secondary,
and a simple pleasure isn't temporary

The kids of Kathmandu spinning, kicking,
and back flipping

While on the other side,
some are getting ready for Annapurna trekking

But these kids could climb ramps like a mountain,
Scrapping their knees but feel no burden

Chasing the streets on their feet
keeping up the pace,
Even with a strong, cold wind
blowing off their face.

Racing the corners with hot wheels,
Shutting the storm with their heels

These youngsters are passionate,
And a skateboard is what they need, no advocate

Just wait till they reach the tip of their heights
See, their potential will not let you out of sight

Because these kids have heart,
And a skateboard is all they need
to express this unspoken art.

From a brick on the wall,
into a wheel off the wall.

                                         Stoni & Z
